Harmony Hair And Beauty Salon was opened by Victoria Vickers in 2001 and continues to lead the way in Beauty Treatments in Wakefield. Victorias history includes personal working relationships with colleagues such as Sir Richard Branson, indeed it was Mr Branson who first told Victoria to ‘go and be yourself’.

So that’s what she did. In 2001, Victoria signed the lease, renovated what used to be part of a dairy into the Beauty Salon you see today. She designed the building to include a brightly lit front area for nails – one of the very first dedicated nail bars in the country, a specially designed and built pedicure area with raised seating area with running water. There are also a selection of side rooms for Massage and Beauty Therapy plus a designated room for the standup sunbed.

Over the years, the salon has developed its offerings and now includes a shower room where the spray tans are done, a designated area for HD Brows and LVL Lashes plus two fully furnished hair stations.

Being a stickler for details, Victoria is trained in ALL treatments on offer at Harmony. She carefully vets and ensures all staff are correctly trained and can deliver treatments to her own high standards and which our clients come back for time and again.

Victoria has an illustrious history in Beauty. She is a highly experienced, National Award Winning  Nail Technician. Her background and work has taken her to many places including the dressing rooms for the Spice Girls and more recently, a Mr Bruce Springsteen – he likes acrylic nails to play his guitar and Victoria was the one they called ahead of the opening of the all new Leeds Arena.

With 20 years at Harmony, there are many more stories to tell, some you just would not believe. If you want to know more, please call in – we like to talk…we talk alot!
