So What Is Semi Permanent Make Up?
It is the procedure of placing / implanting pigment into the dermal layers of your skin. The colour of pigment used depends entirely on the procedure being carried out, the client’s age and the request of the client and consultation advice provided by the technician. This treatment can be carried out for medical and as well as cosmetic reasons. Cosmetically is is applied purely to enhance the facial features, medically however this treatment can be used to replace eyebrows after chemotherapy, correct a cleft lip and also for breast reconstruction after surgery.
How Long Will It Last?
This depends on a number of factors, which include the client’s age, colour of pigment used and area to which the pigment is applied. Never the less once you have received your full treatment with us your make up will last for several years. During the latter years your make up will start to fade gradually, at this time you may decide that you wish to intensify the colour and visit the salon for a top up.
What Areas Can I have Done?
The areas available to be treated are growing all the time.
Generally however for cosmetic reasons the procedures available are:
- Eye Liner / Eye Lash Enhancement
- Eye Brows
- Lip Liner
- Lip Blush
- Body Art
Other areas are available for medical reasons, such as cleft lip / palette correction, scar camouflage and areola reconstruction. Eyebrow simulation can also be for medical reasons i.e. after chemotherapy treatment or for alopeacia sufferers.
How Much Does it Cost?
The Price depends on the procedure carried out. All procedures performed are inclusive of the consultation, patch test, treatment and aftercare. The price is agreed at the time of consultation, dependant on procedure carried out.
Prices range from £300.00 – Discount is available for group bookings or for those who choose to have more than one procedure.
A top up procedure is available at a discounted price to lengthen the treatments longevity, as long as the treatment was carried out by ourselves initially. The top up can be carried out on work carried out elsewhere however a consultation will be required and price given as treatment standards vary at other clinics.
